General Description
The Magaguadavic River holds a special place in most paddlers hearts. This class 2 run is where many from the paddling community learned how to paddle and practice all the associated skills. It’s so good many of us still frequent the river to play around and fine tune those skills for more difficult runs. There is a friendly beginner surf wave with great eddy service located near the start. This wave gets washed out at above 2m on the gauge. When the gauge reads 3.5 or above a couple of real nice surf waves form at Split Rock Falls with good eddy service.
Hazards
There are typically no known hazards on this river. Wood generally is not an issue and all swims are relatively easy to clean up.
