General Description

It’s a safe hard dark sandy bottom. It’s a very very gradual slope so showing up an hour or more before the high tide can mean a bit of a hike out to the water. Same applies if you are having too much fun on the ebb and loose sight of the water receding…. long walk back to the car.

Hazards

At the very high tides you have to consider the big boulder breakwater barrier there. If you’re not in control it can cost you your kayak and your body.
