General Description
The Dennis Stream is a fun class 2 river with three larger class 3 rapids on it. You can easily scout and portage all class 3 rapids on this run. This river is considered by most paddlers to be a good step up from the Magaguadavic River. It has lots of boogie water, some beautiful surf waves and some good intro to class 3 rapids on it. As with any river the rapid classifications can change if the river is higher.
Hazards
Always be on the lookout for wood. The characteristics of the Dennis Stream makes it prone for snags and strainers which it has a difficult time naturally flushing.
