General Information
The Dungarvon is a small river with continuous relatively fast moving water. Just big enough that strainers should not be an issue. Most of the run consists of swifts and class I with one or two class II/+. The Boars Head Narrows is the largest rapid and can be scouted from river left. There is a camp on river right at this rapid which serves as a landmark.

Hazards
This river is pretty remote in the central part of the province and there is no cell service on the river or on the dirt roads getting to it. Flat tires on the dirt roads are common especially after recent grading.
